I've always had a desire and passion to help others, which is what has lead me to a career in healing and more specifically, therapeutic massage and craniosacral therapy. 

From high school I attended Wilson College to receive a Bachelor of Science in Veterinary Medical Technology while continuing to ride my horses and study dressage, hunter over jumps, and western pleasure.  Following graduation and the state board exam, I practiced as a Veterinary Technician for 7 years before leaving the profession to raise a family of 3 wonderful children.

After several years working as a Certified General Real Estate Appraiser with Siebold Group Consulting, I decided to return to the health care field.  In 2009 I took the first of many courses in CranioSacral Therapy, through the Upledger Institute.  The practice was so exciting to me that I left our company and went back to college to obtain a degree and license in Therapeutic Massage.  During this time I also completed a course to become a Certified Equine Sports Massage Therapist through Equissage, as well as CranioSacral Therapy II and SomatoEmotional Release I through Upledger.

Currently I am working as a Massage Therapist at Island Healing Chiropractic, Oak Island, NC, as well as providing equine massage onsite.  I am so excited and grateful for the opportunity to pursue a career in healing and health, both people and animals, and I look forward to the many opportunities to share my experience and education with all of you.

My name is Amy Wallace. I share my life with my husband and our three wonderful kids.
