We have a beautiful studio on the top floor of Island Healing Chiropractic and amazing yoga instructors to guide you through a class! We offer different styles and try to accommodate all levels. Please see our calendar for current classes.  Drop-in's are welcome and no sign up is necessary! 

DESCRIPTION OF CLASSES

VINYASA: 

Incorporates breathing and movement so they become synchronized.  This yoga focuses on smooth transition between movements and breaths.  Vinyasa is a class that can be enjoyed with a variety of movements and a range of poses where the focus is a gentle flow from one position to another. 

FLOW YOGA: 

A slightly faster-paced energized yoga practice encompassing many of the basic yoga postures, but with a few challenges thrown in.  Practice starts with stretching on the mat, then moves through standing postures to strengthen, tone and build muscle and endurance in the body.  A great practice for those wanting a workout.

PILATES:

A body conditioning routine that helps build flexibility, muscle strength and endurance in the entire body.  This is a ‘fusion’ type Pilates class that encompasses not only core work, but also back, arm and leg work.  A great workout for those wanting to improve all over strength, posture and muscle definition.

Beginners are welcome! We offer a range of Yoga classes.  It is important to know that in any Yoga class you simply do what YOU'RE comfortable with! All instructors encourage students to try new things, but also to honor their body and NOT TO DO anything they are uncomfortable with.

Instructions are available before and after most classes to demo anything and help you improve your practice.
